Literature Text

That which all must endure, that which all individuals either faced or will face in this lifetime, that which can either strengthen the spirit or crush it into dust incapable of forming back into it's original shape is that which haunts man since the beginning of the Fall. The Fall at which a man and a woman gave away paradise all in the name of knowledge, now that knowledge has been perverted to twist the mind of simple people to the whim of their own totalitarian desires. Pain, depression, loathing, desperation, obsession, greed, and pride, these are what flaws of the human spirit. What makes a human strong is that although he or she is surrounded in a world of imperfection. This world which threatens to claim every single human and bring them to a state of self destruction God himself could not bring.

For this reason, man in it's self is it's worst enemy. The enemy is known to personify itself as beings such as the Devil or evil deity and yet, responsibility still remains off the shoulder of society itself. Human society, that which accepts the atrocities of fornication and ignorance as common human traits refuses to accept that it is slowly rotting on the inside, thus, mankind shall rebuild.
A poem about my view on the human spirit.

...... A subject close to my own heart and I couldn't agree more with the philosophy behind your prose. But I think it's a triumph of substance over style, but that is not to say that it is not well written. Would love to read this in iambic pentameter ....
